Does anyone know if it’s ok to put Amsoil “Fuel Efficient” ATF in the transfer case vs the recommended “Multi-Vehicle”?

Amsoil’s website recommends the fuel efficient for the transmission but multi vehicle for the transfer case. I bought a 2.5 gallon jug of the fuel efficient thinking I could use it in both, but now I’m thinking that might be a mistake.

If you have the 4auto transfer case, you've got clutches. The wrong fluid could mess things up, like the olden days of putting Type F into a GM or Dexron into a Ford. Use what Ram recommends or what the oil manufacturer is willing to put in print.

I used the red bag that amsoil has. It is what they recommended. the only fluid I have left to do is the transmission and that one uses the blue bag.
