Hi folks - I have an Amp Research BedExtender from my old 2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Does anyone know if this would work with the 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab? I tried a test fit and it seems like it sits fine but I'm not 100% sure. I don't want to do anything with it yet until I add a BedRug and a Tonneau Cover.

I had wondered the same and did a lot of measurement on the one from my 2014. I'm 100% confident I could have made it work with some trimming and reassembly. However, I chose to put it on Craig's List and sold it for $95 the next day and used Discount Bandit to get a new one just for the 2019 for $238 delivered. Delta of ~$145 was worth have the couple hours I would have spent modifying it back for other things in my life. YMMV

It will mount, if needed, just make some spacers out of 1 1/2” pvc.
I drilled and tapped the mounting holes for a 1/4-20, used a 2 1/2” long taper head stainless screw.

Almost forgot!
The hold down strap needs a touch of modification in order for it to lock down in the tailgate latches. I took a pair of tin snips an cut a small flat on the plastic mounting piece. Picture speaks volumes.

I'm going to re-use my 2014 Ram bed extender. Thanks for posting those pics....great idea on the latch mod and spacer for those with low profile tonneau covers. The part number for the Amp Research spacers is 74609-01A and they're ridicoulously overpriced at over $40!!!
