Ambient lighting hack

Has anyone figured out how to keep interior lights at it's brightest without sacrificing the ambient lighting? And has anyone figured out how to change the bulbs in the ambient lighting to make them change colors or make them brighter?

following. would be a great hack if so! I would love to keep the cluster bright when the ambient lighting is on. I can turn the uconnect display brightness up when the headlights are on but not adjust the cluster.

You would have to replace the LEDs in order to change the color or brightness. They are not just simply a plug in style LED. They are soldered on to a board with a diffuser.
