always uneven cable on tailgate..wtf...

mine included i always see this on other 5th gen rams photos, youtube, vids etc. is this really the way it is engineered? does anybody have equal tension cables on their liftgates? also it's always the left side with a little slack in it. any thoughts on this???

Yes only one cable takes the weight, the other is their to catch the tailgate when the other breaks.

Check that thread linked above. It's not a situation of having one cable backing up another for when it fails.
