Already rust??

I’ve had my rebel for about 8 months. I’m in WI/MN so lots of snow. Should there already be rust on here?

Every vehicle I've ever had with a solid rear axle, looked like that in short order - anything from trucks to Crown Vics / Town Cars. The black paint is pretty thin on these.

Get under there and respray it after you use a rust treatment on it. Put 3 or four coats and it should hold up much better

Anything really Rustoleum, high temp paint like you use for brake calipers, whatever you can get in a spray can. Or use this rust treatment or something similar
