Alfa OBD and MDS

I've read in a couple spots that MDS can be turned off via Alfa OBD? Is this true? Any details on how to do it? I tried searching but couldn't find anything and the Alfa thread is huge at this point. Thanks!

None that I’ve seen. A tuner is the only way currently. Or using the gear selector buttons. Or tow haul mode

if you get an unlocked pcm, it takes 2 seconds to turn it off in hptuners

Not sure I want to go there yet, the truck is only a few months old. lol
