OK, I've read here and there about people removing most of the grill shutters, and doing so WITHOUT removing the grill. I can't find a video of it, or anyone detailing the steps though. I know it starts with removing the top radiator plastic cover and then doing the work from the top. What I need to know, is which shutters can be removed, obviously one or two rows need to stay to avoid a check engine light. Pictures of what has to be done to remove the shutters? Detailed instructions would be great for this forum and save lots of headache removing the whole grill.

Well you already know what needs to be done. Just reach in, twist the middle of each slat so that it forms a "V" which pulls the ends closer to each other so that the ends slip out of the structure.

Took a swig of mountain dew liquid courage, and got it done. Took some pictures and will be putting together a how to.
