I have a 2019 5th gen RAM crew cab and I wanted to add a little bass to the stock radio I had car toys install the line out converter and remote wire for me and at home I ran the power, ground and rca cables and connected them to the amp. With the radio level below 15 everything seems and sounds good but when increasing the volume past 15 the bass begins to flutter and sounds distorted. I took it back to car toys they trouble shot everything and couldn't figure it out this included different wired wires amps and line out converters and yes the road cancellation mics were disconnected has anyone else ran into a similar problem

What stereo system is in your truck? I'm guessing the base 6 speaker system?
To me, it sounds like the voltage may be too high for the converter. But the truck stereo could also be distorting at that volume level.

6 speaker system but car toys said they connected different line out converters and it did the same thing now they also mentioned something along the lines about the signal before after the box thing under the driver's seat was giving like a fluttering affect and seem to think it's the radio itself that is giving off a bad signal

Fluttering affect sounds like ANC issues. A shop like Car Toys should be much better than this. Just get the sub interface module from PAC and call it a day. Also find a new shop.

PAC ANC-CH01 ANC-CH01 Factory ANC Module Bypass Harness

Is what I ended up buying and factory radio was replaced under warranty I also connected this PAC module bypass before and after radio was replaced and no fluttering distortion as before until volume hits the high 20s but that could be fixed with a higher end line out converter but as of right now custom ported built box amp halfway up everything is to my liking except for now the usb port not working correctly fml and car toys got some explaining to do
