I have a 2020 RAM 1500 classic 5.7 Hemi,
i had an aftermarket Electronic brake module installed by my local mechanic
he is unable to program the module,
so i took it to another mechanic who told me the same thing,
do i have to take this to Dodge or is there a way to program this module

You can do it yourself with alfaObd or Jscan, a Bluetooth scan tool, and SGW bypass cable.

This is the one many recommend and will give you full access to all modules

OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for iPhone, Android, and Windows https://a.co/d/bjLF2Jb

Another option is what I used on my old Tundra that didn't have a brake controller is a Bluetooth brake controller. It plugs into your trailer plug port and then you plug your trailer plug into it. It also comes with an app to adjust settings. Worked great for me.

As a Classic, you might get more positive answers in the 4th gen sub-forum as well.
