Anyone else had this issue? Are my tips way out of alignment? I have the Borla Touring with 5” tips. Only the one side had melted some. This was first noticed after picking it up where some work was done on it. Looks like a little transfer of plastic onto the tip and not sure how they would have been touching.8D3D89C0-441E-4185-9887-87B54D3CF768.jpegEE900431-D291-4ABE-AE06-4E4A94BA65E4.jpeg

I don’t have an aftermarket exhaust but it looks like it should have been hung a smidge lower .

Here is someone with a similar issue: https://5thgenrams.com/community/th...on-passenger-side-suspension-bump-stop.20742/

Looks like the fix is a new exhaust under warranty, but that seems rather extreme. I would just go to a good muffler shop and have them adjust it, either adjust the hanger on that side or reweld the tip at a better angle.

Depending on how you had it installed of course. If you had a shop do it, I would go through them so you won't have to pay out of pocket.

Wow!! I installed the Borla ATAK exhaust about 3 weeks ago, haven't noticed but going to check it in the morning now after seeing this post. Will update...

Mine needs to be adjusted as well as it doesn't sit perfectly even in my bumper cut outs but haven't noticed anything melting. Just waiting on this jersey weather to stabalize so i can crawl under there and adjust things

Just reposition the tip. Unless you had them welded on of course.

Late reply but i'm having the same issue with my Borla Atak. The driver side is the one mostly affected with some melting. Passenger side is slightly off center but no melting at this time. I tried to adjust the hangers but they just go right back to the same spot. Its really annoying...
