For those that added sound deadening material to the front & rear doors, how did you access the outer door skin? Did you remove the inner door panels or just apply it throught the speaker opening as good as you could? I'm a little leary about removing the inner door panel as it has the window motor attached to it & I don't want to have trouble trying to get it re-installed if there's any kind of linkage attached to it.

Removing the under carrier plate is the best way to get clear access to the outer door skin and getting good coverage is very beneficial. Try to find a YouTube video to guide you through it. If not, at least add as much as you can with one of the thicker products like Resonix mega CLD, KnoKnoise xtra thick, or NVX Pro.

on my last ram i removed the complete inner door it's a PIA and i will never do that again. on my current ram i heated up the deadener and just put it everywhere i could access from the speaker opening IMO it worked out just as good sound wise and better as far as time and effort.....
