Adding powered subwoofer

Hi all. I am looking to purchase a powered subwoofer to add a little bass to my stock 6 speaker system. I have been dealing with information overload with threads and how to install this. I’m hoping since it’s a powered sub, it’s a little easier to install. Does anyone have any advice that went this route? Can I get away with not touching the anc with a powered sub? Thanks

I’m guessing no… I disabled my ANC when I upgraded the speakers and added a small amp, changed absolutely nothing.
