*Adding Front Parking Sensors *

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 2022 Ram 1500 LoneStar with the 5.7L Hemi engine—this is my first truck, and I’m excited to learn more about it.
My truck was not originally equipped with front parking sensors; however, the previous owner installed a fender that include empty sensor sockets. I would now like to retrofit the factory front parking sensors.
From my research, this appears to require the following components:
6 front parking sensors (driver outer, passenger outer, 2 inners, 2 outers—or the equivalent factory set)
Front sensor harness
Parking sensor module
Diagnostic tool (such as a compatible OBD-II scanner) to enable and program the Body Control Module (BCM)
I’ve confirmed that this retrofit is possible on similar models, but when I contacted the Dodge dealership, they were unable to provide guidance or parts support.
Has anyone in the group successfully completed this front parking sensor retrofit on a 2022 (or similar-new generation) Ram 1500? If so, I would greatly appreciate any details you could share, including part numbers, wiring considerations, programming steps, or any challenges you encountered.

I searched and can't believe I couldn't find a post about this. I suppose most owners already have the parking sensors and there are some who hate them but my Ram does not have them. I'd like to add the front and rear parking sensors (6 front, 6 rear). I've researched the part numbers for the wiring harnesses and there are about 6 for the rear and 8 for the front. Has anyone added these sensors and if so, what was your build list?
