thanks wrfd34

Use a tailgate led lightbar and hook it up using a curt adapter. I have the Opt7 on my Rebel, some guys are waiting on the new Putco one.

If you want some stupid bright aux brake lights - look into the Feniex Fusion surface mounts. They're an emergency light, but you can use them on a steady burn function instead of flashing. I install these on a lot of emergency vehicles for just that purpose (flashing as well) but, if someone says they don't see you stopping they're just outright blind. They're about 50$ a piece. You can also do dual color versions - a little more money but one mode could be red for brakes and mode 2 could be white for reverse. PM me if you have any other questions about it.
