Add under seat oem footwell lighting?

My 24 Rebel has front footwell lighting (I believe these are led, as the rest of the interior lighting looks to be led), but none for the rear (ie. Under the front seats), my previous 22 Sport GT (Canada) had these.

I have the single dial nex tto the headlight switch. I don't care to add full ambient lighting, but I'd like to add the oem footwell lighting for the rear/under front seats

Has anyone done this? I read a thread somewhere (can't find now) where you modified the yellow plug under the seats, but I checked and I don't have any yellow plug. Could this have change from 21+?

Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

Is there a way to make the floor lighting stay on and serve as an ambient light for night drives? (My truck does'nt have the full ambieng lighting package...)
