activating the integrated brake controller

I installed the integrated brake controller in my 21 Ram 1500 Laramie and attempted activation using the same gateway bypass and code reader (BASX) that I used on a 2019 with success. I got a message from the Alfaobd that there was an error. Has anyone else had issues programming 21 using alfaobd? Do I need to purchase a different program or interface module? Thanks in advance.

That happened to me bc I was going into the wrong module. I got it figured out and I got the itbm activated today. When you go to bcm, select the one for your year vehicle not central gateway module
