Hi everyone, first post here. I have a 2024 1500 Hemi E-Torque crew cab. I’m wondering if anyone has any links or information on the E-Torque electrical system. I’m going to install the audio system from my last car into my new truck (roughly 1000w RMS total) and I’m wondering if I can connect my positive leads from the amplifiers somewhere in the cab instead of running a lead from the 12v battery through the firewall. It sounds like the voltage step down converter is built into the 48v battery but I don’t want to just slap these on if there might be any issues. I haven’t tore my truck apart yet to take a look at what’s going on yet. Hoping someone here has some insight. Thank you!

The install would be the same for any truck or car. There isn't going to be any 12 volt power source large enough inside. And you don't want to mess with the eTorque battery system.

Thank you for the reply! But dang, I was hoping to connect to the lead from the step down converter from the 48v battery that runs to the 12v battery

I installed an aftermarket amp and ran a 1/0 ga wire from the battery to the back. There is a rubber grommet that is made to run a cable through the firewall. Its located right by your left foot on the driver side foot well. Just make sure you are careful when you drill out the hole as there is a multi wire cable right there.
