Accelerator Pedal Loose/Normal?

My accelerator pedal moves left and right alittle. I called the dealership and they said it is normal for a little play in the pedal moving left and right.
I have a 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3 GEN
Does anyone else's pedal move left and right a little when touching/grabbing it?

Try smashing it to the floor and see of it moves.

I had to tighten the bracket to the accelerator pedal. I used a socket wrench, I had to turn the nut till it got tight. Now my pedal only moves 1/8 left or right. Easy fix!
