A Wish for Touch Screen Buttons Lock

Hi all. I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited with the 12 inch UConnect 5 system. I find the touch screen too sensitive. Many times while tapping a radio preset the preset button will change from what it was to the radio station I am listening to. Other time, on the home screen, when I tap on a widget, the entire section of the home screen will want to move as if I was modifying the home screen. Also at times when selecting 'Media', 'Comfort' or 'Nav' from the touch screen button at the button, they change as if I am moving them.
Everything I have described happens when I am just tapping the button on the screen and not holding my finger on the screen.
The screen will also change to the Home screen from other screen at random times. While traveling recently and using the navigation, the screen changed to the Home screen several times in a 2 hour drive.

I wish there was an option to lock the touch screen button that could be turned on and off. Turn off the lock, set the radio presets and other buttons and widgets, then lock the button in the location and presets.

Has anyone been experiencing these same issues with the touch screen? I regularly clean the screen with a soft cloth to get rid of the finger prints.
This gets very irritating and distracting while driving.

I've not had that issue. My biggest issue is trying to keep my finger steady while I press something.

I agree, that is also an issue for me in Saskatchewan and our horrible rough roads in many places.
