Dealer just quoted me over $1600 to change the fluid in the trans... so I'll be doing this one myself.

Question is: Is there a trans cooler return line to drain the fluid from as you are putting in new fluid? This is how I did it on my previous truck (not a Ram) and it worked great as you could see when the new fluid finally made it all through the system.

Tomorrow I am installing a B&M transmission pan on my truck, The stock pan doesn't have a serviceable filter so you have to replace the whole assembly so I figure for the extra money I might as well go aftermarket plus it holds 4 extra quarts of oil which should help me while towing. I have a 1500 and have done alot of research and from what I've seen nothing talks about how to also drain the oil cooler while doing this.

Not sure if you could get fresh fluid in fast enough for this to work, based on the location of the fill hole right next to exhaust
