Hey guys just bought a set of 4 5100 for my big horn.

I also ordered rebel take off rims

What else would I need to complete my level job ?

Would I need new UCA's and ball joints ?

probably should include if you have the off-road package or not in your truck
I do, so the truck already came with 1" lift from factory.
I did an additional 1.5" to the front. The angles are not bad and so for now I left the stock uca's
There are many opinions here but for the most part it seems to be safe to keep the stock uca' with a 2" lift or maybe even 2.5" if you don't do serious off-roading.
3" I would think its a must

I'm installing these atm as well but it seem like the rear shock doesn't lift the truck as claimed? I got the adjustable ones that States 0-1" rear lift but after I installed it and measured it seems to be just factory heights ? Am I doing something wrong ☠️

Edit: I also don't have the factory off road package

U did nothing wrong...those shocks can accommodate up to 1 inch of lift. If you used a spacer under the coil spring or replaced the coil spring with a taller height.

Ahh that make sense. I'm doing the front one atm. And it seem like these are adjustable. I was thinking maybe I bought the wrong one lol

you misunderstood the description on these
The rear 5100 do not raised the truck.
These are better performing replacements for oem rear shocks for trucks that already have a lift

Follow directions that come with them. Keep it within limits listed in instructions and no UCAs required. If you want to go higher then you will need them

Seems like if that's the case i may have to keep factory heights for the time being. I think the lowest I can prob get away with via the front I'd 1" and I think that may make it higher than the back hmmm

You can go 1.5" on front with ORP or 2" without ORP and should make it almost perfectly level. With slight nose down

Oh? Thanks for the info! I'll double check it again tmrw! Base on your statement I'm assuming the back (without orp) sits at a little above 2 " ? I do want to keep a small rake just in case I gotta load up the bed with some heavy stuff in the near future.

I may just go ahead and to the 1" in the front for the time being if it doesn't push it higher than the back.
