5.7 Everything is new, and it started knocking

Hey HEMI brothers, I don’t even know where else to look for help anymore. I’ve rebuilt the entire top end — brand new lifters, pushrods, timing chain, rocker arms — but I still have a ticking noise. The worst part is that the engine starts knocking hard when I hit 3500+ RPM. I have no idea what it is or where to even begin with the fix.

5th gen forum is the wrong place. sorry about the bad luck but if you had a lifter issue that metal went through the whole motor and you are looking at rebuilding the bottom end. did you replace the oil pump? i'll bet that oil has more glitter in it than a cheap strip club on a Friday night......

Ouch... you could use a stethoscope to listen around but that sounds like a time for a long block.
