I know it sounds crazy, but has anyone tried, or are the mounts too far off? I'm sure some modification would be necessary, that's a given

A friend of mine just had his 4rh gen totalled from a rear end accident, and his nearly new Road Armor full guard front bumper is up for grabs. He said I can have it, but he's about 700 miles away so going over to size it up easily isn't in the cards

Won't work. Different body type all together.

I understand the differences in body type, but other gen bumpers have been made to fit other gets. IE 4th gen bumpers are popular on 2nd gens.

It's a fairly expensive bumper I can have for the cost of going and picking it up, and was planning on getting the Move full grill kit and weld it up myself anyways, so fab was alrrady in my cards. so just seeing if anyone else has attempted it or even looked at it

Well sure, you can make it fit with a grinder and a welder. 5th gens look different than 4th gen and older.
