Just got some new Goodyear at3 Kevlars the other day , it got cold out went from 36 down to 31 psi and 1 went down to 29 psi . I now have them at 38-40 range like my OEM Nexens were. They ride more comfortable now too …….Will I be Ok ??????

You will be fine. Just keep that air at the recommended pressure found on the sticker inside the driver’s door.

I just put “winter air” in my tires.. LOL.
Got cold here too.. they were all low 30s. Tire pressure is a funny thing. On Sunny warm days…the side of the truck that faces the sun is always a PSI or two higher when I first get in.
Try to regulate your pressure in the shade…and if you take pressure readings hot, they’re probably 2-3 PSI higher than they would be cold. Keep that in mind. It’s not abnormal to have to add a few PSI when temps get cold..

Yep, monthly inflation checks and adding in winter are normal. Even the wifey's "nitrogen" filled tires require it. What a scam that is...

The other thing you'll notice is the tmps will vary from one minute to another when driving, tire pressures will move around 1-2 psi. If you are OCD on pressures being "even" it will drive you crazy...

Thank You all for the responses I’m just mainly concerned about tire wear with higher inflation that’s all I prefer to be in the 38-40 range it’s a better ride IMO

Actually had nitrogen in my Silverado and had no issues except I had to drive 35 miles away to get it since I live further away . Not many garages do it where I live. But not this time

1 lb change for every 10 degree temperature change.
Example, If you have set at 32 lbs and it s 60 degrees outside, then the temperature drops to 30 degrees the tire pressure will drop 3 psi to 29lbs.
