Can you offer any clarity on what “invoice” price is relative to MSRP, for a RHO for example? I’m trying to assess what a total discount percentage might be.

Is it the FWP number on your picture above?

MSRP is what the manufacture charges, while invoice, which is the FWP, what we are charging!

The 2025 order banks for the Ram 1500 are still open! Thank you to all who have been supportive. We truly appreciate it!

We continue to see transports arrive daily and we have had some new Rams arrive on our lot recently too!

Have you heard anything about what is causing the delay in production of the limiteds?

So if there is no delay when does she expect shipments of Limiteds with Group A to begin?

right there with you, this is interesting news because if there is no holdup then why haven't any been produced yet and why are sold orders with level A not getting vins. and scheduled? I sent an email to Ram cares last night with my displeasure.
on another note, I turned my 21 Silverado LTZ in yesterday at another chevy dealer. it's so nice they are buying it right away from the finance company. that opened up the flood gates between that dealer and the GM finance company they are ringing the dinger out of the email inbox and texting trying everything to put me back into a GM product. I finally caved this morning and told them I would look at numbers on a 24, but I had a Ram 1500 limited ordered and was not committed to jumping out of that just yet. first time in 20 plus years I have not had a truck to drive.

I've looked at about every other '24 truck out there and keeping my plan Bs on the table. I just don't understand the lack of coummication between RAM and its dealers so we can make our decisions vs going with GM, Toyota, Ford, etc. I could see getting an alternatie such as a Denali, keeping for 2 years and trading in for RAM Gen 6, assuming I like them then.

So, they are initially not building the more expensive trucks in an inflationary environment with current orders pending????? At least they could do is run the line 1 day to clear all pending orders for Limited and above. Maybe cost more money but won't lose current or future customers...

That's not how it works at the plant. On any given day, the line of trucks is a mixture of everything (Bighorns, Laramies, Limiteds, Rebels, whatever). It's not a special run to build Limiteds. Every year, they start production with a big push of trucks that can hit dealership lots. That's their focus right now. Then they fall back and start mixing in custom orders. And during any portion of production (start-up or build-out or anywhere in between) there may be a block of trucks that aren't being built. Could be due to a production problem for a specialty part, or could be a configuration problem in the system. As an example, the RHO was recently screwed up in their ordering system, resulting in errors. So they have to manually pick through them and repair the orders before they can even think about putting them on the schedule for production.

That explains some things, thanks. So from several dealer accounts the Limiteds are waiting on a part for Group A option. Maybe RAM doesn't know or withholding details but sure would be nice to see some daylight on the upper trims (above Laramie). Whoever knows the answer should work for the CIA as information seems nonexistent, no useful leaks.

Most of the plant workers (that I hear from, at least) don't know the reasoning behind what is scheduled or not scheduled. That's way deep in the Stellantis computer system. The plant workers typically have good intel on day-to-day operations (like why the second shift got sent home early, and stuff like that).

We are not alone!! Was over on the Ford site and customers having trouble getting their 2024 orders filled, esp higher trims, due to parts unavailability and other issues. Some ordered last fall thinking they would get first quarter delivery. Many orders will not get production dates until at least June up to July. 2025's will be introduced in August so question is whether to wait and get '25 truck sometime first quarter, barring more problems.

A lot of frustration over there as well. Has not been a good year for Ford. Saw on GM site they had some shortages on certain options. When you think about it we're only a year or so away from all the covid supply chain shortages.

yes, I was building a Gm product for the dealer I turned my chevy into yesterday for my wife and I can plan accordingly, and I am not able to order the Trailer tire pressure sensors option. and to get it to work in the truck it has to be factory ordered. that was the chevy site on a high country loaded even though I don't like the painted bumpers one bit. I have not checked the GMC Site yet and I hate the damned Grill on the denalies. why can't we just get what we want? LOL
