3D Printed Rear Tablet Mount

So if you want to use the slots in the rear cup holders for a tablet it has to be less than 10" long edge to edge. This wouldn't work for my Surface Pro, which is 11.5" edge to edge and it's also too heavy for the head rest mount I've been using my phone with to entertain the kids. In comes my 3D printer and calipers! I still need to tweak it a bit (get rid of the need for rubber bands), but it fits in the slots well and the Surface doesn't move while driving. Took about 17 hours to print since my printer isn't big enough to make it as one piece. I used tough PLA as it's cheaper than the ABS I use, so if it breaks I may just do ABS.

Easy enough. You can print in almost any color you want, and if you can't then you can spray paint it.

** I actually used PLA Plus, not tough PLA. Difference between the two both in quality and price.

Well there's been enough of a demand from a facebook group that I'm now selling for $48 shipped to the lower 48. International will be extra. Build time is almost up to a week right now because they take about 15 hours to print, and I've had quite a few requests. I can print 1.5 of them in a day if I stay up late/get up early.

Bumping this up since I had someone request one for an iPad Pro 12.9", then bail when it came time to pay. I've got one ready to ship tomorrow USPS priority that I'll discount for $35 shipped. Otherwise it just takes up space in my parts drawer. Just send me a PM.

I still use mine any time we take a trip with the kids. It can be seen from all 3 seats, and it is rock solid (no shaking/falling over bumps or rough roads).
