Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but has anybody started a 3d printed thread of Ram accessories/parts?
What is the purpose of those holes in the bed railing? I' was thinking to put those plugs in as well. Not that I'm aware of, but would be cool.
I did some plugs for the bed to keep dust out, but that's all I've done so far.
They are a hold over from the old stake pockets of older trucks. I've never seen any reason for them on newer trucks. Maybe some aftermarket racks use them, but I don't know. What is the purpose of those holes in the bed railing? I' was thinking to put those plugs in as well.
Bullring mounts? Not those holes. The ones inside the bed. "inside" the tie down loops.
Drain holes? Not those holes. The ones inside the bed. "inside" the tie down loops.
Best way would be mount it somewhere in your garage and not put holes in your truck. What's the best way to mount this? Just bolt on?View attachment 170213
Yes, those are drain holes. Generally used to route tubing from covers into. Not my pic, but the left arrow.View attachment 170215
no, your other left.Yes, those are drain holes. Generally used to route tubing from covers into.
Yes, it's what u said. That's where my drain tubes go on my Rambox bed.no, your other left.
No, the left arrow. Under the ring is a blank space. Not the round hole on the right arrow. If your drain tube goes under the ring, you installed it wrong. You should run it down the hole on the right. The round one.Yes, it's what u said. That's where my drain tubes go on my Rambox bed.
Yes I can see. It goes into the left arrorow as it doesn't fit in the circle one, the tubes goes straight and hits the inside of the bed and doesn't drain properly. No, the left arrow. Under the ring is a blank space. Not the round hole on the right arrow. If your drain tube goes under the ring, you installed it wrong. You should run it down the hole on the right. The round one.
