Hello. First time Ram owner and first time pickup owner. I got a '24 Ram 1500 Tradesman last month. I didn't like the wheels/tires, so I found a set of TRX takeoffs on ebay. The tires are 35". I checked with a local 4x4 shop before I bought them, and they said a "Rough Country 2" Ram Front Leveling Strut Kit" would work (and wasn't too expensive). Now they are saying I need a 3.5" lift all around. I called another place for a second opinion and they said the same.

Figured I offer it up to the "experts" for a 3rd opinion. What should I do? I love the truck and am super impressed with the ride quality. I didn't want to impact the ride quality much, if at all. Is a 3.5" Rough Country lift really necessary? If so, would it impact the ride quality significantly? I have woods on my property and will be driving it there occasionally, but no serious off-roading. Appreciate everyone's input!

You will need a 2" lift but more importantly you will need wheel spacers to clear the upper control arm due to the 12.5" wide tire
