I'm one of the lucky ones in the holding pattern for a 22 for awhile now. I have a ORG Bighorn ordered which has a full size spare. I have 4 XD's 20x9 0 offset here with 4 35 KO2's on order. Being that the offset and size is different from the factory wheels and tires I was looking to tuck a 5th wheel with a 35 under the truck to eliminate size and offset difference in the event I needed it. Does anyone have 35 tucked underneath for a spare? Any modifications?

Nice Hydro Blue! I have 35's and I want to do the same. I just plan on a cheaper wheel and tire for the spare, but I want a 35" tire so I'm not tricycling home from wherever. If I get it done soon I'll report back.

Thank you. Completely understand. I'll be getting a same dimension cheaper wheel and tire throw under the truck and save money. I just don't want to have deal with a flat and no spare. Looking forward to the update.

Yes it seems the tire will have to be aired down. I keep a compressor so that's not a biggie. My other thought is going with a 285/65r20 or 35x11.50r20 to try to achieve the same tire diameter but save space in the spare tire well. I don't really care about a matching set, just need something to get me into town if I needed a tire fixed or replaced.

To add to the complication, I have a 6" lift that has new steering knuckles. Because of this I cannot run an 18" rim, has to be 20" because of clearance. Right now my spare is an 18". So guess what happens if I have a flat on the front? Take a rear tire and move it to the front, put the spare on the rear. That's my main reason for wanting to change the spare, while I'm at it I will try to get as close to a 35" tire as I can fit.

Agreed. I was looking at a Grid wheel same size and offset for $175 and a 285/65/20 tire to get the size match. I have no need for a matching wheel and tire that's underneath and never seen. Just looking for that safety blanket.
