I am posting this as I wasn’t able to find too much information on this, although there are a few more threads showing up now.

I’ve got a 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Sport Night Edition with the factory 22” rims, stock ride height, and no air suspension. I have Gatorback mud flaps that are about a 1/4” thick. I just mounted a set of Toyo Open Country AT3 33x12.50R22 tires and at full lock have no rub at all with some room to play.

They ride almost as smooth as factory Goodyear Eagle tires and do not emit anymore road noise as of yet. They were a little more difficult to get balanced so I am going to keep an eye on that for now, otherwise all seems good.

Hopefully this information helps if you are looking to change up the tires on your truck.

Looks great! I've been eyeing the factory 22's so far. Not sure If I want to go that route or just stick with 20's, but when I see photos like these it makes me want to just buy them.

Dilanw93,

Does the tire size that you referenced correspond to the following in metrics units: 305/45/R22??

Also..

Did you burn through your factory Goodyear tires or just desire a change?

I have about 17K on mine and it looks as if they only have about 5K left in them.

Yes it's just about the same size tire. I believe one is cheaper then the other and one is also an E rated tire and one is not.

I decided to just change them. I wasn't keen on the look or performance of them, however they were going to ware quickly. I had about 5,000 kilometres on them (I'm Canadian lol).

The size doesn't correspond directly but they are similar. These are the comparisons:

The 305/45R22 tires are slightly smaller.
32.8" - 12" wide - 5.4" sidewall - 615 revs/mile

33x12.50R22 tires are slightly larger
33" - 12.50" wide - 5.5" sidewall - 611 revs/mile

They are close in size, but the 33x12.5 r22's are .5 inches wider. Here is a screen capture from a tire size calculator I use.
