33 gallon gas tank

I can’t tell if the black seen from underneath is the tank itself or a plastic layer over the tank? I am concerned because it has scratches from off road, don’t want the next one to be a puncture.

Look for a part number and google it. It will probably be eight numbers and two letters.

That appears to be the tank. If you are scratching anything underneath while going OR, you probably should look into skid plates.
