Hey everyone, I’ve owned my 2019 Ram Limited for 1 full month and I’ve put 3,333 miles on it. I’ll be putting 1,050-1,150 miles on it on Saturday to pickup a set of Longhorn 20” wheels and tires.

This truck is absolutely amazing and I love driving it. The comfort makes the miles just melt away. I recently did the AC hack and it’s even better. Can’t wait to put even more miles on it.

I came from a 2018 Ram Rebel that I loved, but this truck just defies logic when it comes to what a truck should drive like.

Anyway, I see a lot of people sharing issues, I wanted to share my awesome experience with this truck.

So without hijacking, tell me how long and what cost of parts the hack was. Can a bumbling half wit (me) do that?

It took me 5 minutes $20 in parts and I can do it so anybody can do it. Make sure you put a drip pan on the ground to make sure you don’t make a mess like I did.

You are talking me into it... did you save the original heater hose?

I took the hose off of the pump, put it on the valve, even used the factory clamp. Added the hose to the other side of the valve to the metal hose coming off of the water pump and tightened it.

This way when FCA issues a Fix, I can take the thing off with a pair of pliers and a 5/16 nut driver.
