I've got a 22 limited 4x4 Hemi was wondering if the steering and drive is much different on the 2500

1500 is IFS rack and pinion.

2500/3500 is live (straight) axle with a steering box. Uses a "T" style crossover steering setup. The suspension is coils with a trackbar.

So very different.

Also, there's no "auto" 4WD on the hefty duty's, they use a Center Axle Disconnect (CAD) and fixed hubs. It's traditional 2WD, 4WD, and 4-LO. You can add an aftermarket 2-LO box if needed that locks out the CAD. I have one and it's great to have when needed.

Beyond the basic answer, any questions on the HD's are best discussed on the sister site hdrams.com
