I have a 2025 Ram SST that if my truck sets three days it will kill the battery,The dealership has put two sets of batteries and it still kills the battery,It’s been to the dealer 4 times and they still haven’t found the problem,I bought a battery jumper to carry with me,They have contacted the head technician and nothing has changed,I like the truck,But I have to drive it just about every day,I’m retired and don’t drive every day,But I keep the truck so it just doesn’t set at the dealer,Hopefully that they will find out what’s wrong , I have had a software updates,Still nothing has changed IMG_1733.jpeg

Had to get batteries replaced on my 2025 last week. No indication from dealer as to why the went bad on brand new truck.

You have a parasitic draw that is draining the batteries. Desert should be diagnosing that, and not just replacing batteries. But they would need to keep the truck for several days to diagnose

100% agree. It will take some time to troubleshoot. Dealership can't fix it if you have the truck in your garage. Take it back if you don't want to have to keep your truck on a charger.

I let mine sit and didn’t drive for one day, batteries died. Was at 2v. I changed the batteries myself both main and aux. hasn’t died but in the run position the battery voltage shows at 12v in red. Does anybody else’s voltage in red or is showing a low charge?? In running position with truck on voltage is shown in white numbers.

mine starts at 12.6 and slowly drops, in red the whole time, unless I have just shut off the truck.

I also have a 2025 Laramie . I noticed something running under the hood for about thirty minutes after its shut off. the dealer found both batteries bad and replaced . does anyone know what it is running ?

Brand new 2025 Rebel x edition, battery has died 2 times in 2 weeks... seems to be when it is very cold at night. Dealer has just ordered me a new battery.. being installed in a few days. Tow truck company who boosted me says they boost Rams every day here in Ontario Canada... seems to be a bad batch of batteries. This is my 6th Ram in 20 years, and never a problem like this. I also saw a thread on parasitic drains, but who knows what is causing this? FYI, dealer ran codes on the car, and it shows nothing wrong. Also not leaving any cords plugged in either.

Sorry to hear it.

Would be nice to find out what percent of trucks are having these issues... it it 10? 1?

Forums seem to shade to the negative, so whose to know.

I've been reading that if guys leave the key fob near or in the truck its draining the batteries... not sure if you do or not but I keep both fobs inside house far away... there's been bad batches of batteries from factory before I had that problem with my 2022 2500, I switch out my battery first day to something like optima or odyssey. never had a problem on any trucks since and I've had 4 in as many years...

My key card was in my center divider when this happened to me (dead batteries), no idea if its related, I removed to prevent being stranded again.

See if the dash is staying lit after you exit vehicles. Many are having issues push brake to start staying lit on the dash when they exit and draining the battery.
