New to the forum. Looks great. Inquiry: Looking for trends- feedback on other 22 Ram Rebels or recent years with same 5.7 mild hybrid and 8 speed Transmission. Mine is sticking in lower gear range 2nd or 3rd gear randomly, infrequently; but, it has occurred at least 3-4 times in last year in unsafe circumstances on major highways while trying to accelerate from a ramp or similarly. It Has 34.5K miles and has received Excellent care and service. Only solution ( which is not really a solution) is we Have to pull over, turn off the engine and restart it and go through reset etc. Had it in to dealer twice in last year. Both times software reset. Both times they said " No codes indicated." Taking it back to dealer this coming week.
My guess, based on other comments and owners perhaps the electronic control module. But also wondering if it is time to ask for a new transmission under their warranty.
Thanks.

I sure don't have the answer for you unfortunately. I just joined not that long ago because I purchased my first Mopar product. I posted 2 new member posts a week ago and I got zero response from either and I even had pictures 😵‍💫 You might try another section on here, but hopefully my response might bump you up so more eyes see it. Despite slow to no response at times I have found an endless amount of useful info here. Good luck with the issue

Dumb question. You didn’t inadvertently press the gear limiter on the steering wheel did you? I’ve done it myself once or twice and panicked for a few seconds until I realized what I did.
