Apparently the bearings in my MGU are bad, I know that part number 68623194AB is infinitely backordered and because my truck isn't dead yet I am not a priority. If I were to find a new one that has never been installed what is the process for the dealer to flash it to the vehicle?

A used one can be just installed without flashing it?

You are covered by the 80K warranty?
A member here replaced the bearings, try searching for the post, it was pretty detailed.

You won't be able to use the electrical/"computer" portion of a used one without flashing it. If you disassemble a used one you can replace the mechanical parts and run without flashing. Yes, there's a nice post already done where someone replaced bearings only.
