22 2500 Tailgate replacement

I dented top of tailgate with 5th wheel and was looking into DIY replacement (paintedoemparts.com) - my RAM has camera integrated into latch. Anyone have experience with? It looks like disconnecting/replacing tailgate itself is fairly simple but not sure on unhooking my existing latch/camera and reinstalling on new tailgate. Any pointers appreciated - could not find a youtube video on that particular step.

It's super easy. The camera has one simple plug. There are 2 bolts holding on the latch. I just did this.

One other quick q - can you re-use the old RAM logo or do you have to purchase a new one? Not sure if old one is adhered on.

I havn't tried, but i'm told it's stuck on with adhesive. Not sure if 2500s are the same. There's also 2 variations of the tailgate emblem, I believe one of them was clipped on.
