Has anyone heard any updates on this alternator (68623194AB)? I've been hearing the stories about this and major delays. They told me Oct 4, 2025. I am a little nervous about this. It's our only vehicle. They gave me a rental car to use. But it won't pull my camper. Plus, I have a Texas trip planned. Not sure what to do?

Just dropped mine off at the dealer with the same issue yesterday. My dealer supposedly has a new generator on the way for mine.
I figure the backlog for the part should go away some since they are selling the 26’s with the same etorque hemi again

I've read lots of posts about missed promise dates. I would hope for the best but prepare for the worst. You may need to arrange for a rental truck for your trip to Texas. If your truck is still under warranty (8 years/80k miles) it would be worth trying to negotiate a loaner with your local dealership.
