I would like to upgrade to key-less / touch-less entry. I hate having to pull out my key fob and press the button to just unlock the door. If I order the antennas and install them in the doors is that all that I need to do, or do I have to change the handles too?
I also want to install the tow mirrors, will they have the visual alerts still or will I loose that feature, and do they have the heat / defrost elements and puddle lights?
is there any re-programing that needs to be done at the dealership?
a little background, I purchased the electric trailer brake controller, as you know it was not in stock since the older units that they have would not work with the new can bus system on the 2025's. So they ordered it and was told it would be 45 days...
went to the parts counter in 45 days and they had no idea what I was talking about, OK, they re-ordered it and would be 45 days, you guessed it not there at 45 days, two weeks was the next arrival time.
Surprise, surprise not there again.. Mentioned that I was going to go to the general managers office and have a discussion about the situation. The counter parts guy I had been dealing with was super and went into his bosses office to let him know, when he came out of his office guess what little box was in his possession? I'm guessing that the parts Mgr was holding my part for someone else, I'll never know...
