The styling reflected in most small/midsized SUV's are the same. Same hatchback, taillights and colors. It's as if one company is producing all the parts.I know this isn't an official Ram release but I'm REALLY looking forward to new, different colors. If you want to drive yourself crazy (or at least it makes me display symptoms of OCD) look at all of the cars around you. Almost all vehicles are black, silver, white or a variation there of! Sometimes you'll see a different color, but rarely.
Oh man, you've hit the nail on the head about architectural style! I'm a residential/commercial building designer. What's popular in a certain area is copied to death by developers and there is nothing new being introduced. It's not until someone takes a risk and tries something new that the "in" style will change and everyone will start coping it. I've been lucky a few times and have had the opportunity to introduce the copied design. The styling reflected in most small/midsized SUV's are the same. Same hatchback, taillights and colors. Same goes for architectural designs of new multi story apartments etc ( at least where I live).
Who knows, maybe the " fin mobiles " of the 50's will make a resurgence - electric of course
Agreed. That's a lot of blinding chrome. Way too much brightwork. Has to be the Longhorn. I hope the body color grills look better.
Looks like there is plenty of room for crosshair optional grill. That grill as pictured is even more generic looking than the current one.Agreed.
I'm not anti-chrome, but that is a LOT.
Totally agree. Too much empty space under the headlights. They seem to be infatuated with the brow look.I’m not a fan. Those tiny headlights and huge grille isn’t the look they should have shot for. Looks un proportioned in my opinion.
I feel the opposite way. I do not like the black pillars and roof.I love the look of the two tone paint. Specifically the black pillars and cab contrasted against the different color body.
I just said this same thing to someone not too long ago. Just look around...all of these car manufacturers got together to come up with essentially same design and color. They have normalized depressing dark colors it's time to normalize COLOR!I know this isn't an official Ram release but I'm REALLY looking forward to new, different colors. Never trust info from some random idiots on Youtube.
It isn't quite that ugly, but close. The rendering is rather Tundra'esque - eh?
