Just finished my 3rd week with my 2025 Big Horn Night Edition after trading my 2020 Laramie. Went down a trim level due to price, but still a nice truck. So far liking the SST engine performance but not too happy about the fuel mileage. Just finished a 250 mile trip @ 75 mph and only averaged 17.5 mpg. My 2020 Hemi used to get close to 19-20 on the same trip. Hopefully it gets better as I break it in more, but way lower than manufacturer specs.

What gearing do you have?

Also, where are you located? Winter fuel will knock it down a few MPG's.

With the SST HO, I'm getting better mileage than my Hemi with the same gearing.

Pennsylvania. Yeah thought that also with the cold. Didn’t expect such a gap. If I don’t see improvement in another 1000 miles gonna have the dealer diagnose it.

I don t think the dealer will diagnose anything. You're not that far off and with the cold, fuel, wind direction, drop in tire pressure as temp drops, newer vehicle in consideration. I ve seen a significant drop on mine during this last cold spell too. Also did you check the MPG s by hand calculations . I was seeing 16 on the truck and hand calculated 21 MPGs. sometimes it s the other way around. A lot of variables even doing it that way such as how and when the pump kicks OFF as full. Put 5-10K on it and it will be warm by then. probabaly back up to 19-20 IMO.

Just got mine. SO motor, 3.92 limited slip CC 4X4. Just over 1000 miles on it now and best tank on a trip was 18.2, averaging 16.5 mixed driving in town and I'm not driving the crap out of it. Way below EPA estimates, but it is cold as the dickens and I have been using remote start in the mornings, so... Love the truck so far, but very unimpressed with the gas mileage.

Got 7k+ miles on my Limited and gets around 17-18mpg. I did see a dip as winter fuels came in to play, and as was said, using remote start more.

Unfortunately I guess I keep my foot in mine. 2023 Rebel with the 5.7 averaged around 14.8. New 2025 Rebel with the SO 3.0, 15.3 mpg

If I could get it up to 17-18, I would be thrilled.

Love the trucks. Hate the MPG

Good thought. Will try that first.
