I was wondering if someone could help me out I’m a little confused. I’m in the market for a 2025 ram 1500 limited night edition .I test drove one last month. I noticed something odd and that is that the Night edition limited does not have (black bezal) Night edition tail lights, like it says in the description of the night edition package. In past years, 2024 2023 2022 etc. etc. the night edition package had black bezal tail lights .Now if you look at the description on the build a ram 2025 page for night edition package, it clearly says black bezal tail lights, but look at all the night edition limited’s out right now. They all have the standard all red LED tail lights that are on the regular chrome limited .The longhorn edition and the chrome tungsten edition. Ram seems to have forgotten to make black Bezal tails lights for the premium LED versions. They got it right for the ram Laramie night edition and bighorn edition, but the limited and the RHO both were missed with their premium LED tail lights not getting the black bezal trimming. I’m really surprised that I haven’t seen anyone mention it on any YouTube videos. I have heard people make comments that they liked last year’s tail lights better and I could tell why . They’re missing the black trimming. Does anyone understand what I’m trying to say here.

Ram’s design choices and lighting features have confused a lot of us. I would also like to add that they have completely taken away LED taillights for the Laramie and Big Horn. They put in cheap halogen turn signals in the front, and slapped in LED reflectors with no DRL strips like the older ones had.

Also, you probably haven’t noticed this yet, but if you pay close attention to the turn signals flashing on the 2025 Limited LED rear taillights and the side marker lights on the mirror, they are not in sync… They both turn off and on at a different rate.

Damn you. Another thing I have to go look at on mine. I did notice the blinking sound is not in complete sink with the flash in the instrument panel. Kind of drives me nuts.

Sorry 😭. I genuinely think this is a flaw. It’s all a matter of programming that hopefully gets fixed with an update.

Same here. No black bezels. And the blind spot sensors must have either been moved or are better integrated into the taillights.

See what I mean . 😤😤 It’s driving me crazy looking at them . If I were you I would say something . It clearing says black bezal in the night edition package on the 2025 option . Ram is not giving us what we paid for .

I was hoping it was just a 2025 model problem. But as you could see these photos are all 2026 models. It seems they have the same issue someone on design and manufacturing is not paying attention. For a short moment, I thought it’s just possible that the limited night edition doesn’t get black bezels but as you can see it does in the description. I’m sorry to say this, but RAM is responsible for replacing these tail lights and give it us to proper ones that we paid for.

Yea, they really cheaped out on the lights. I was curious to see if they would fix some of the issues for 2026 like offering LED Tails on the Laramie but it looks like nothing has changed.

It’s not only that they’re being cheap . They’re selling the wrong products . They are misinforming their customers.

Yeah I was wanting to swap out the lights on my normal limited to the night edition but it seems the lenses are the same for all limiteds (both normal and night have the bright bezels) . Leads me to wonder if it would be possible to either swap out the lenses between the Laramie and Limited to get a night edition look, or if placing tint on them would make them look like night edition lenses... Seems that whatever the Atlantis High CAN security is the aftermarket still hasn't cracked it yet so that route is still shut out..

That’s cool if you like the Red . All the power to you . I just don’t think it’s right that we are paying for a black out package with black highlights and there skimping out on the most obvious part of the truck that’ stands out .

I agree, they definitely messed up and should fix it. Looking at the mopar estore, there’s only one style for the LED taillights. That’s for the 2025 model year tho, it hasn’t been updated for 2026 yet.

That’s interesting. Good find . I guess they just flat out never made it in a Night edition version . That sucks . Would have been nice to let us know that when we choose it as an option . Every model year prior to 2025 had them . What the hell are they doing ?
