Have a 2025 Laramie and the external temperature reading is always 8-10 degrees higher than the actual outside temp. Anyone else have that? Is there a fix? I have an appointment for the truck to go back in to the shop on 9/9 for a bunch of other things, and will add this to the list, just wanted to ask here.

Thanks

on initial start up mine will read off, but evens out after a few. Couple weeks ago we were mid to upper 90’s I hopped in the truck and it read 109. Shortly after I started driving it went down into the 90s

Completely normal.
I believe the temp sensors are in the side view mirrors…and they’ll bake in the sun like the interior of your truck.
Give it a few minutes…it’ll level out once driving.

What else is wrong. I also have a 25. It’s been in and out of the shop since April. They have had it more than me.

I have had the problems that most are having:
- No connected services. (WiFi, weather, traffic)
- Uconnect box needs service
- rough shifting in gears. 1-3
- gauge cluster goes black every other day
- odometer blinks sometimes
- Illumination lights not available alert
- Proximity wake does not work any more (did the first week)

I think covers it for now….

Surround view and back up guide lines just disappeared on my 21 limited. Right after I had it at the dealer getting both manifolds replaced.

I kogticed the temp inaccuracies as well. Didn't think anything of it really it eventually evens out. All vehicles I have had do this.

Mine does the same thing. Its always way off so I don't even pay attention to it anymore. Its usually reads 5-8 degrees high even after driving for a while.

Hey Hokie,
Not sure much can be done as, I believe, the outside temperature reading is taken from the black shadow sensors area in the upper mid-section of the windshield glass. My 2019 and now 2024 both, were always off by anywhere from 5 degrees to 25+ degrees. Depending the time of year. In dog days of summer where I live and when the truck has been outside the entire day and when I leave work at 5, the outside actual temp could be like 100 and the glass temp sensoring will show 125+..

Mine is off as well. I just assume its reading interior temps. As it was 22C outside and read 30C on the cluster.
