First time Ram owner here. Pumped. Just picked up a 2025 Laramie SST
I loved the night edition but the one I was looking at came with other options I didn't care for so I opted for one that was a better aligned spec for me and saved about $7k in the process since that spec came with other mods like passenger screen ( kill me before I pay for that in a vehicle of mine). When I first saw the chrome/black in photo's it wasn't totally my jam. Now in person, I kinda dig it! However, I still want to weight out some options for a chrome delete. Ideal world I would be 100% blacked out body & tie the bow with some bronze wheels.
I was curious on opinions of the chrome, potential advantages ( I live in Central OR with lots gritty/pebble terrain) and what some realistic costs would be to my options. I didn't find much in the way of 2025 bumper upgrades but I'm pretty new to this lifestyle and I'm sure there's some smaller fabricators out there making some cool ****. Something with integrated light bars would be awesome.
Unrelated but more about my use case; Bike, Ski, SUP, Kayak & Camp alot.... I tow a small 13' tiny home camper from Elusive Trailers and camp alot. I do not plan to add RTT and go deep overlanding but will be building out the bed to serve for adventure rig- Leitner rack + Retrax are en route.
