2025 1500 front turn signal replacement

Has anyone been able to replace the front turn signals on the 25 ram? Got new LED switchbacks and can’t for the life of me get the bulb out. Any tips or tricks to get it out? Thanks in advance!

This was such a PIA that if my switchbacks ever go out I'm just gonna sell my truck instead of going through all that again.
But seriously, I used a small set of pliers to try to grip the flat part of the light. Be sure the light works BEFORE you tighten up the new bulb, i had to do both sides twice due to the polarity thing. I read somewhere that a guy took a socket and cut a slot into it to go over the end. Godspeed.

Locking set of pliers of the correct size is the trick. Also remove the front panel under the hood so you can eyeball the bulb holder as you place it back in.

It literally took me 10 minutes to swap out my front turn signals to the switchback. Now that I know how to do it, I can do both sides in less than 5 minutes. Just use a small pair of pliers to grab the stalk of the turn signal housing. Twist it to unlock, then use your hand to pull it out. Put new bulb in, put the housing back in and then use the pliers again to turn it and lock it back. Easy.
