2024 Map Update for Uconnect® 4C NAV 12”?

All,
If you have the 12-inch Nav/Radio UC 4 system:

• There are no free updates for the UC 4 system - only UC 5 systems.
• you must buy your own update for your truck
  • they are VIN-locked from the factory
  • you must enter/verify your VIN upon install
  • If your Radio software needs updating - there may be an additional charge/increased time to get your update.
    • The latest version that I am aware of is 40.1
    • When I did mine my radio software was out of date and there was not an update available until they made a new version that included the radio update. Once I updated the radio software then the update was immediately available and shipped and arrived within 1 week or less, I do not remember how long before it was in my mailbox/delivered.
    • Make sure to follow the directions exactly - read the directions a few times first before installing - the truck must have an internet connection during the installation.
