Hey everyone.
Thinking about moving into a 2024 Ram, possibly even a TRX. I’m trading in my 2021 Ram.
One thing that always annoyed me about my 2021 Ram was how dim the analog gauges were, and how unbalanced the gauges were from the dynamic contrast of the 12” center UConnect system. The light dial is either blindingly bright on the top detent (while also losing your ambient lighting) or dim across the board. This isn’t just a one off issue…my company leases about 9 Rams and they all have the same issue. It’s not my eyes, my employees say they see the same thing.
The analog gauges being extremely dim at night seems to be a Stellantis issue across the board even with the SRT, Chargers, Demons, etc. A quick search showed it’s a common complaint.
I’ve not been able to get out and really see the new digital dashes that they’ve put in the Rams.
Anyways, can anyone tell me if the new digital dash is any better, I know it sounds like a crazy issue, but it always bothered me coming from other vehicles how bright and legible the gauges were to go to the Ram and see how dim they are at night.
Thanks for any input!
