Hey guys, getting ready to install some Morimotos in my buddy's 2500, he has a Canadian big horn (low beam DRL) with the halogen lights.

Instead of running the fuse tap to make the LED DRL Strips work, I'd like to go into ALFA and switch DRL to Park Lights, then on the Morimoto Lights, wiring harness I'd pull a pin on each headlight plug for the wire that powers the two Incandescent bulbs for the park light circuit and use that to power the DRL Strips.

My goal is to basically delete the amber incandescent park light and only use the bulb for signal lights.

I tried in a 2010 4th gen ram when I converted it to LED Projector and Tails to switch to LED and I still had to run resistors, will I be able to just switch the park lights to LED in ALFA and it work fine or since there will be less draw from the LED strips versus the 4 orange incandescent bulbs will I likely have to run resistors again?

As seen below I don't want to see the orange lights, want it to look more factory without.

Also bought aftermarket LED fogs (sport, Laramie, limited) look alike's, should those be plug and play or also require an LED shift in ALFA as well to not through light out codes.

Thanks,

Also looking at the ram plug wiring diagram there are 2 dedicated circuits for the park lamps one for each bulb, ultimately I only need one to run the DRL, would I disconnect both and merge them together to power the DRL, or run a resistor on 1 and use the LED strip on the other. Trying to avoid a light out message here.
