2023 Rebel 1500 Mirror question

I just picked up my 2023 Rebel and it came with the "towing" mirrors, which I ordered because when the sales person and I were going over the build sheet these mirrors came up as Power folding tow mirrors!! No drop down box or notification came up saying "Power folding mirrors not available with this package". So we assumed they would be power folding, I know I know NEVER ASSUME. I'm not blaming the dealership or the sales person, but what has me really ticked off is that the dealership said I cannot even have the regular power folding mirrors installed! I even offered to pay even though I firmly believe this is Ram's fault. Does anyone know if I can order the regular power folding mirrors, heated and with blind spot alert and have them installed?? I cannot believe for $75k I can't get folding mirrors now!!

Welcome to the forum . If your mirrors already have the BSM then I can’t see a reason why you couldn’t swap them with the regular mirrors . I haven’t actually looked at them both in depth though .

I just looked at the build and price, and they list both types. Power with manual fold away $0, and power fold $445. If there is no charge they weren't ordered, if there is a charge, you should have them. To add them, you would also have to at least add the switch, and then reprogram BCM. There are threads on here with parts lists, and instructions.

I already have power folding mirrors ,heated with turn signal and puddle lights and they tell me the truck could catch fire or mess up the trans if I change to tow mirrors. Sounds like a bunch of BS . I am really pissed about their answers. I will keep searching for a better reason.

Here's a 24 Rebel Window Sticker. The power folding mirrors aren't included with the regular Trailer Tow Package.
They are included with the Advanced Safety Group! STRANGE!
