Hey everyone, long time follower of the Forums & 1st post/question.

I’ve got a 2023 Ram Rebel GT & I searched for an answer on this through the Forum Search, but couldn’t find a similar question…

Anywho, I just noticed on my Ram that there’s a point where the top part of the Cowl (I think it’s called) at the bottom of the Windshield doesn’t make contact with the Glass.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

My trim fits perfect all the way across.
No wisdom from me but that could allow water intrusion between the windshield and the plastic trim, will it cause problems with freezing and thawing, no idea.

Mine is also flush all the way across. If it's a new truck, I would take that back and ask them to replace that cowl. It's a plastic piece, so it looks like it may have deformed prior to install.

The cowl removal does involve taking off the clips and the wiper arms as well as the side pieces on the windshield.

Thanks everyone. It is a newer vehicle, just passed 7k miles. So I’m gonna take it to the Dealership & see if it can be fixed.

I haven’t witnessed any internal leaking or had any other issues thankfully. However, I am concerned what could happen long term or perhaps what could be happening where I can’t see.

Yep let the dealer handle it probably just a defective cowl trim panel better to take care of it right away so you’re not getting water in places water shouldn’t be going.

Update: Took the Truck to the Dealership today & they have ordered a replacement. Should be getting it fixed here in the next week or two!

Thanks everyone!
